New features
Solver
- Physical and mechanical properties can now be assigned to individual finite elements and joint elements.
- Several projects can now be run one after another via MENU -> Calculation series.
- For the Excavation and Change Properties stage types, multiple regions can now be selected.
- Elastic regions can now be excavated.
- Added a settings window for auto-filling stage durations.
- Added validation for stage duration settings.
Drawing
- The ORTHO button on the bottom panel has been replaced with a SNAP button, which opens a menu of snapping modes: 1) to edge, 2) to grid, 3) ortho.
- Turning on snap-to-grid also shows the grid, and hiding the grid turns snap-to-grid off.
Import
- Properties can now be imported from a block model (BM) with the Import BM data button. The Mohr-Coulomb and Hoek-Brown criteria are supported.
- More accurate geometry processing when importing .dxf files.
Display
- Physical and mechanical properties imported from a block model can now be viewed.
- Errors that occur while importing properties from a block model can now be viewed.
- Improved translation of several UI elements and messages.
- Load magnitude display is now enabled by default.
- Added parameter selection for visualization in the Check Mesh window.
- New number format: values below 0.001 or above 1000 are shown as 1.234*10^b.
- Added the option to fill the color scale background with white.
Results
- Added velocity data to: 1) ElementData export, 2) screenshots, 3) the display, 4) node and element info and Label value at point.
- Added export of the safety factor.
User guide
- The Help button now opens the user guide on the Scientia website.
Bug fixes
- Fixed the display of bolt elements. Issue: coordinates were not recalculated.
- Model zoom now responds only to a double click of the middle mouse button. Issue: double-clicking the left or right button also zoomed the model.
- Optimized geometric algorithms.
- Fixed deletion of joints during manual editing in the Check Geometry window.
- Fixed a missing image when saving a project.
- Fixed angle display in the Check Mesh window. Issue: the correct angle was not always shown.
- Calculation files (.prc) are now re-checked when you switch to the Results tab. Issue: the file number field could show a file that was no longer in the results folder.
